In 1995 when Keystone Tool was started, Jerry Horton was a field service rep for what was then Cooper energy services and Vince Robl was a supervisor it the Tulsa Turbocharger overhaul facility. T.T.O.F. was also a division of Cooper.
At that time it appeared as though the service division would be shut down. so Jerry got a conventional lathe and mill, in preporation for the day he had to make it without the support of a large company.
At that time Jerry didn't have a garage, but had a machinest neighbor with a carport. The machines were set under the carport and 3 months later sides were added. As time went a new garage was built and as expected a division in Tulsa was shut down, but it was the T.T.O.F.
Vince Robl then took over and ran Keystone tool near Keystone Lake until 2010, when the new building in town was purchased and we added the CNC capabilities.
